Presentation

The tri-dimensional neuro-imagery platform performs quantitative neuro-anatomic analysis, numeric biological pictures and allows for 3D reconstruction of axons or neural ways which can be displayed using the Neurolucida software (Microbrightfield Co).
The neuro-imagery platform has been used for the past few years by several members of the IFR 52 (LPPA, Neuropharmacology lab & DPRN lab) either for their own studies or for common projects with the IFR.
This platform acquired a second high tech microscope equipped with the Neurolucida system (for 3D reconstruction) and a virtual slice module which allows for the display of an entire anatomical image from several images observed through a high resolution microscope (2005).

Research projects in which the tri-dimensional neuro-imagery platform is used (list is non-exhaustive) :

    W Graf & A. Grantyn - laboratoire LPPA
