Research

My research focuses on the neural and mechanical determinants of steps' formation as well as on the principles underlying the planning and control of goal-oriented locomotion. The aim of this work is to provide an integrative view on human locomotion, studied as an activity requiring both sensorimotor coordination and navigational guidance.
